Are K-Code axles specific or can I use

axles for another source, after chasing light vibration for some time it turned out to be bent axle on right

    side.

    Thanks,

K code axles are specific but they originated on 1964 Fairlanes. There are a fair number of C4OW axles in 65 and 66 Mustangs. The C4OW number is cast into the flange end where it sticks out through the brake drum. The standard axles are cast C2OW.

    Thanks Fred,

the axles I pulled from my Kar has

C4OW on the flange ends, would this be correct for my Kar, if not

    what would they be for.

I made an error in my previous posting as they are indeed supposed to be C4OW casting numbers. I will correct that posting now.
