Can anyone tell me the thickness of the flat washer under the bolt at the front of the crankshaft on a HIPO? I know it is thicker than a regular 289. Would like to know the thickness of the regular one also. Thanks.

All that I have are NOS and used Hipo washers. I do not have a standard one to measure. The Hipo ones are .323.

I see you own a 66 Vette. I also have a 65 Vette----------with a 289, T5, and 9inch.
As far as different manufacturer engine swaps, many years ago I encountered a 63 split window with a stage two 426 Ramcharger.
A friend of mine was replacing his stolen 69 Boss 429 and he bought a body that had been raced as Boss Rat.
