This man, Don Quillen, was on the earlier Versions of this Hipo forum under the handle of savethestangs and turned out excellent work. He has been doing these for a long time now. I just had a long conversation with him last night and he is still doing these housings. He remade the axle tubes for the 9" where other people were using the 8" tubes. If you use the 8" axle tubes, you will see a step in size where they are welded into the center section. His axle tubes replicate the factory size and are welded to the center section without a step in size. He has used thicker gauge materials making the entire housing much stronger than the originals. If your original housing is bent, severely rusted or missing, his housings are a great option. Here is a link:
