The inside is bare aluminum which has some oxidation on it. I have not tried to clean it up. It also has a couple of chips, dents or gouges on the edge. looks like someone may have used a screwdriver to pry it loose from the engine. Otherwise it is not damaged. Please do your own research for fitment to see if this item will suit your needs.
