This auction is for an clean used Original Manual Transmission Bell Housing for a 1965 1966 1967 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Cougar Fairlane Torino Cyclone Comet Montego and Ranchero. This fits 289 289 HiPo Special 302 V8's with 3 and 4 speed manual transmissions. It includes the clutch fork pivot and accepts a 157 tooth flywheel. The only blemish is a small chip by one of the dowel pin holes which will not affect the performance of the bell housing. It will also work on 1969 and newer 302 and 351 if you change the clutch fork pivot or use the early clutch fork. If you need the 1969 and newer pivot I will swap it out for you no charge. It carries Ford ID number C5DA-6394-A and is clean and ready to install. We accept Paypal , Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. This is an original Ford (cast by Sheffield) 1965 1966 1967 1968 and will fit 1969 1970 1971 1972 1973 Ford and Mercury 289 302 351 3 or 4 speed bellhousing. It was used on 6 bolt engines, which were alternator cars.

I have threaded bolts into all the threaded holes, and they fit fine.

This bell housing used the clutch fork pivot found in the 1965 - early 1968, To use it in a a later model, either change out the pivot or use the earlier clutch fork.

There is one chip on one of the dowel align holes on the right side. I am pointing to it in picture 4. It has no impact on fit or function and does not affect mounting the bell housing to the engine or the trans to the bell housing.

OPTIONAL: I have the correct spacer plate for an extra $30, no increase in shipping, stripped and plated to deter rust. It comes with a free boot with the spacer plate, used, in decent shape.

I have the earlier style for the 1963 1964 early 1965 5 bolt 260 289 engine in a different listing.
