Hello all - just joined the site. I do not own a Mustang, but do own a 289 hipo engine in a 302 block, so have some questions to be asked in the coming weeks, which I hope the group can answer. I posted a couple in the "chat" section to start. I believe I am in the right place, lol. Look forward to chatting more. Mike

Welcome aboard, Mike!1
I hope that we will be able to help you out here.
Maybe you will want to someday get the appropriate Mustang for your engine.

Thank you Fred - I need all the help I can get.
Just curious - what would be the "appropriate" Mustang for this engine combo, in your opinion?

Newby K code owner also. What has happened to the K Code registry? Does it still exist?

Hi Guys,

The K code registry does not actually belong to the forum. It was done by Tony Gregory, author of the books "The 289 High Performance Mustang" of which there were four editions. All are now out of print with a few fourth editions still floating around in the cyber world. These all had the current, at the time, Hipo registry. To my knowledge, there are no plans for future editions.
