This auction is for a rebuilt original and ready to install 1965 FORD MUSTANG 289 HIGH PERFORMANCE K CODE CLOSE RATIO Toploader Transmission. This is an original Ford unit with the proper C5AR Low Lettered Case (The later more common C5AR cases have the lettering in a different higher position, This is the specific correct case for an HEH-T with the "Low" Lettering, Correct C4DR Humped Mustang Tailhousing, Original HEH-T Tag. This is fully rebuilt, original and ready to install great for anyone's correct restoration. We normally sand blast and repaint the cases but this one had such a nice natural finish we kept it as shown - Never sand blasted or stripped - still with the factory ink markings on it as shown. This has a vin number on the bottom of the case 5R09K194___ as shown in the pictures, I blocked out the last digits intentionally. This has ink markings on the case, bearing retainer, tailhousing, This is fully rebuilt, numbers correct and a perfect addition to anyone's Mustang or Shelby restoration. This is the factory 28 spline Close Ratio. The original case is in great shape, no repairs. Our transmissions ship in premade shipping containers which require a $200 crate deposit which is refunded upon its return (we schedule the call tag and pay return shipping to make it easiest) When purchasing it is easiest to call to run the $200 deposit on a credit card but we can also send a paypal invoice as well for it.
