I put these insulators on here to let people know that these, although not advertised as such, are NOT original for a Mustang. These are actually for 63-65 Fairlanes with a 289 regardless of its being a Hipo or standard 289. If you look at the underside of these mounts you will see a square recess for a square headed bolt used on the Fairlane mount setup. These have full bolt holes of the lower sides of the insulators as that is an attaching point in the Fairlane setup. The Mustang mounts have only half of this hole as the Mustang mount has a protrusion that this sits on to locate it for a Mustang.
On the plus side, these can be used on a Mustang as a replacement and are also original for a 289 Cobra.
