You are bidding on an original Vintage AUTOLITE Hi-Po Dual Point Mechanical Advance Distributor Ford Part No. C50F12127E selling AS IS. The number stamped on the upper base just below the cap is C50F12127E, date code 9K23 (10/23/69). The number cast on the lower stem is C50F12131B. This distributor has been in dry storage on a shelf in the same race garage since the 1970’s & recently discovered. It appears to be in very good overall condition with the shaft & mechanism moving freely, but it has NOT been tested. While it MAY work fine (don’t know), it is being offered for PARTS or RESTORATION / REBUILD ONLY AS IS with no warranty or guarantee. Distributor cap NOT included. I know NOTHING about this item or what specific car it was removed from. Based on some research & after checking with a very knowledgeable Ford restorer & racer, I was told that this distributor is for 1965-67 289 Hi-Po Mustang & Shelby GT 350, Boss 302 & likely other years & applications based on the October 1969 date code. However, I will rely on those way more knowledgeable viewing this listing to identify & determine specific application(s). Low opening bid in hopes that someone can identify & utilize.
