Here is an Ebay auction for a used set of Boss 302 rods by Ebay member "jollyroge" with a starting bid of $0.99:

Ford 289 Hi-Po Boss 302 Connecting rods Shelby GT350 Cobra. Here is a set of (8) 289 Hi-Po /Boss 302 connecting rods that were removed from a 289 Hi Po engine. Not sure exaclty what the difference is between Boss 302 and 289 Hi Po . They will need reconditioning and new bolts. All have the 3/8” football type head bolt and would be correct for 289 Hi Po’s including all Shelby GT350’s that came with 289 engines. Good rods are getting harder to find . If you need a set of OEM style rods for your 289 Hi-Po engine here is a good set to start with . Winner pays actual UPS shipping charges. Good luck bidding !

These are assorted rods from different engine jobs. 3 rods have untouched rod beams, 3 rods have some cleanup work done to the beam of the rod and 5 have the rod beam totally smooth for strength and lightening . They will all need reconditioning and new bolts. All have the 3/8” football type head bolt and would be correct for 289 Hi Po’s including all Shelby GT350’s that came with 289 engines. Good rods are getting harder to find and here is an assortment for you to make a set out of or fill in some other sets you have when you need a rod. Winner pays actual UPS shipping charges. What 7secondchevelle has up for your consideration is a set of 6 USED Boss 302 5.155 long connecting rod cores. These came from one engine. I am selling 6 rods but there is a 7th. All rods appear to be in usable condition but will need to be bushed on the wrist pin end. Someone in the past had floated the pins against the rod and they were galled. One has some damage (picture provided) but machinist said it most likely hold a bushing with no problem (7th rod). Rods have been polished and shot peened. No rods had spun bearings and otherwise appear to be in good condition. Some rods are missing bolts but the caps provided match the rods. Read further. Please do your research on this item before bidding. Please read; shipping is to the lower 48 states only. All others will need to contact me first for a shipping quote. I ship only to USA addresses.
