These high-performance heads are factory replacement for the 289 Hi-Po engine in a K Code Mustang. The part number is C8ZE-B and it was manufactured by Ford for over the counter replacement of the early 289 hipo heads being 1968 they do have the thermactor hole for smog also one has cast 19 the other 21 bottoms have cast 302 tops have cast 289 they have the small pushrod holes like the early 289 head They were bake blasted cleaned and magna fluxed they were in a vintage race car. They had never sat outside or had any signs of water damage, very clean with original valves Please note that these heads have been previously owned and are being sold in used condition. Ford 289 Hipo Crane Fireball Heads. Heads removed from a 302 that was rebuilt forty plus years ago and never fired up. Heads were reconditioned back then but highly suggest going through them. They were milled and had a valve job. One stud tower has an old school repair as shown in pics. Port work looks great. Originally 289 hipo service heads when Crane built them. Set up for solid flat tappet with titanium caps.
