This is a freshly rebuilt OEM 65-66 Mustang HIPO transmission. A few of them have the vin stamped either on the pad on the bottom or across the belly which I have had both but the vast majority of them have no vin stamped on them at all just like this one. This is a close ratio top loader and it has the C5 case the C4Z tail shaft. The tail shaft has some tape on there that is the bottom plug because it is too hard to move around with that plug in there. This is concours correct for a 65-66 HIPO car with a 289 in it or a 302 and it is ready to install. We do ship all our tranny's with no oil and the top cover is not sealed. We have a 6 month warranty on the transmission you just have to send it back and we will fix it. We've never had one sent back but its peace of mind. Thanks for looking at my transmission.
