Up for auction is a very rare 4100 Autolite carburetor that is correct for the 289 Hi-Po equipped with an Automatic transmission (including the Shelby Hertz Cars). The original tag is still on the carburetor, and it has a date code of 5HE. It appears that the carb. was professionally rebuilt at some time, and still looks great. I would, however recommend installing a fresh gasket kit before you run it. All of the manual choke pieces are present, as is the anti-stall dashpot. The butterflies move freely, as does all of the choke assembly. With a fresh gasket kit, this carburetor should give many years of good service.
