  • This used set of HiPo heads <b>SOLD</b> for $560.00.

    <b>DESCRIPTION</b>:

These heads are rare. They are real HiPo heads, and have the sloted push rod holes and the recesed valve spring base. These heads NEED to be rebuilt, and some of the valves are bent. The motor threw a rod, and broke the cam shaft. That's how it bent the valve. The reserve price is real low, and you pay the shipping costs.

  • Here's a used set of early heads that <b>SOLD</b> for $430.00.

    <b>DESCRIPTION</b>:

This is a set of bare heads for the 1963/4 289 HiPo engine. They are unique that they have the small 49cc combustion chamber, which made the compression ratio higher in 1963 and very early 1964 than later years. They have the screwed-in rocker stud pedestals and spring bosses. They were fully machined 15 years ago. Three of the exhaust seats were replaced. Thick wall valve guides were inserted. The heads were never run, as I got rid of the car they were for. They have matching December 23, 1963 date codes.

  • This set of C3OE HiPo heads <b>SOLD</b> for $995.00 by eBay seller "mustangmasters428".

    <b>DESCRIPTION</b>:

Here we have a set of Ford 289 High Performance heads recently brought to us from one of our recent buyouts. The 289 HiPo motor was the best Ford had to offer in the earlier model Shelby Mustangs and Fairlaines. The Shelby GT 350 and all K model Mustangs as well as HiPo Fairlanes all used these 271 HP cylinder heads.

All the HiPo characteristics are present as seen in the photos. You can clearly see the recessed valve saddles, and of course factory screw in studs. They are both C3OE and have 289 castings one with the 19 and the other with 21 on the top corners. Pictures clearly show casting numbers and both date codes are 3 H 15 for those that are in need of this information. These heads are clean castings, and show no signs of ever coming apart or combustion chamber damage. We see no signs of cracks, welds, or other damage.

The footprint (recessed area on bottom of the head to indicate planing or modifications) is clear and noticably not cut away from use or abuse. The original valves are not damaged or sunk in, and the valve springs are intact. A complete set of heads as removed from a HiPo 289 motor, these are just what you are after - unmolested, unmodified survivors. Why not bring that Mustang, Shelby, Fairlaine, or any other Ford product with a 289, to a whole new level of performance and strength with these HiPo heads?

  • These used heads were <b>SOLD</b> along with an intake manifold, and a set of 8 connecting rods for a "package price" of only $970.00 by eBay seller "golfbarefoot". WOW!

    <b>DESCRIPTION</b>:

This auction is for a package of 289 K code engine parts. If you have an authentic 289 Cobra, now is your chance to find the numbers you need. The parts consist of:

    (2) 289 K code C3OE cylinder heads dated 3J19

    (1) 289 K code C40E intake manifold dated 3H29

    (1) 289 K code C40E-6059-A Timing cover

    ( 289 K code C4AE/C4AE-D connecting rods 3/8" bolts

Everything looks great. I have not had any of these parts machined or worked on. They were magflux before I bought them to ensure no damage, that's all I know. The connecting rods have some square 3/8" bolts and some football shaped 3/8" bolts, so some could be 289 HIPO, and some 302 BOSS. They are all the same size, and have the numbers 1-8. Let me know if you want pistons when you win, not sure what they are.
