ID these heads?

These are on my clone - Anybody know what these heads are for - obviously a 302 - any ID on the springs or other interesting parts you can see?

That's a "3" on the head above

Looks like a 9H6 casting and a "B"

The heads according to the date are 1969 August 6. They have the positive rockers stops, we mean you torque the rocker arms to spec and leave them there.

Thanks Richard - Are you saying I don't have to adjust the valves on this engine like I do on my HiPo?

66gtk if the heads are used on a 1969 302 engine with the correct length pushrods they are to be torqued to specs and left there. You don't have to adjust like you HiPo.

Can you still have solid lifters with non-adjustable rocker arm studs? You can tell my level of mechanical ability....

The answer to your question is yes however as you start to adjust them and the pressures build over time it will start to push stud out of the head.That's why you either pin them or mill the boss for screw in studs..Good Luck!
