intake correct for block?

Could a block(motor)with a block casting date of 1-12-66 and an assembly date of 1-20-66 have the correct original Ford intake with a date of 6-A-21 or 1-21-66?

All parts on the motor would have to be dated before the assembly date.

I know the scheduled build dates were usually not the exact day the cars were built,because of demand they were always behind and the car were built late..So it would definitely be possible.. Anyone??

I think Charles is talking about the assembly date of the engine. Couldn't be assembled before the part was made.

What is the engine assembly date stamped on the pad right above the fuel pump?

As listed the asssembly date is 1-20-66 Intake is 1-21-66

If thats the engine assembly date and not the car's scheduled build date then I don't see how that could be the correct original intake, but then again this is Ford we are talking about...
