hipo motor mounts( frame mounts)

    the frame brackets look to be almost the same between hipos and regular 65 289's..There is a set on Ebay that according to the part numbers are not correct hipo mounts..but whats the difference?? I'm just speaking of the frame brackets,I know the rest is totally unique..

    The frame brackets for the hipo are lower than the std. 65 mounts. They are C4ZA #'s cast into the mounts. They still can be found at times, I just picked up a set on ebay that were advertised as std 665 mounts and even had the std. engine mounts that came with them.....got them for $125. That engine must have really sat low in the chassis.
