Wanted: Hipo flywheel & one std hipo piston

  • Thanks for the reply Ken. I ball honed the block today and couldn't get all the pits out cause from water sitting in three cylinders, I'm afraid it will wear out the new rings and start to smoke!<img src=images/icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle> One piston was pitted from water, I was trying to keep it standard bore, and I don't want to sleeve three cylinders so I decided to have it bored out. I should have honed it first before my post for a Hipo piston, I'm sorry about that.

It figures on the flywheel... I bought a hipo flywheel today here in Scottsdale Ariz but when they pressed a new ring gear on it was a loose fit and they decided to weld it on and it's not very pretty, I was desperate so I payed $250 for it. I may buy another one because the one I bought today is cobbed up. I'm not picky on the flywheel date code if it is a C3OE with the brinell hardness test mark on it. What's your price for the flyweel?

    Thanks, Russ
