Nice car - I can't believe you restored it like that in only 7 months. Nice job. What engine mods do you have there?

Thanks, just 30 over pistons, edelbrock intake and edelbrock 600 manual choke carb. Did not want to cut heads for larger valves.

That's cool. I've heard those carbs are a cinch to get working right out of the box. My dad put one on his Shelby. I wish they offered a "less shiny" finish on them, though. What exhaust are you running? Stock manifolds? Sounds "mean" - different from my car with stock GT exhaust.

I have never had a problem with any of the 600 carbs. Just bolt on and never touch a screw. Long tube headers with 2 1/2" flow masters.

My definition of "cinch" is "easy"! Like I said, my dad put one on his Shelby, and right out of the box loved it.

Ahh, long tube headers and Flowmasters explains everything!
