I'm talking about the reverse lockout. I don't want to rip into it without seeing if there are any secrets to doing it. Thanks

I ordered a new shifter for my 65 k and it does not have the spring and handle on on, it's just a shifter. How hard is it to change that stuff over, are there troubles with putting the springs in and should I buy a new spring? What else should I plan on doing to it?
Thanks

Here is a really quick picture of the one on the alternator for a '65.

I'll try and get a better picture later.
If you could get a picture of the back of your alternator that would be great. Thanks Steve

I have the correct fan and spacer, do I need a specific pulley then if they have a spacer already on it or does it matter?
Who sells the correct pulley?

So I am rebuilding the one alternator that I think is correct for my 65 K. Two of my screws that hold the casing together broke, so I took the other alternator apart to use the part of the casing under the fan and pulley. I noticed on the one I took it off that the back has Motorcraft on it. Should the one I'm rebuilding have motorcraft on the back also or should it just be stamped? Thanks and let me know if I have only confused you?

Here are two carbs that I have. Trying to figure out what they are. I don't know if one of them is for a hipo or not? Any clue would help. Hope you can tell the difference between the two carbs. Thanks

Please be aware of that the -C pulley needs a specific fan
with a flat middle and a specific spacer as well.

Does anyone have a picture of the fan?

The build date of the car was Dec 22, 1964

If the car was running it might be an issue lol I hope to be able to restore it myself.

Where can I buy a correct larger pulley for my Alternator? I am not looking to buy a correct alternator right now, I just want to put a larger pulley on the one I currently have. Part of the reason is, I don't have the original hipo motor in the car right now (slowly being built). I guess it really doesn't matter if I have the correct pulley right now, but thought it might matter for other things on the car?

I bead blasted my tie down brackets, painted them gloss black (the original finish), phosphated the six bolts and four nuts and am ready to re-install them at an appropiate time. You may leave them on or take them off, your choice.
Jim
How do you phosphate bolts? What does it actually do? Thanks

I have taken my rally pac off the car and need to clean it up. The chrome on the eyelids is somewhat corroded. Do they make new ones or should I get this re-chromed?

They make hangers for the Arvinode system now don't they?
So should I just take the brackets off?

My car is a factory duel exhaust. The build date was Dec 22, 1964.
-
So these normally come off the car?
I am missing the holes for the exhaust?

I saw a couple posts awhile back and I could not remember if they are the correct ones or not? Also I put the old leaf springs back on the car. It sits a little lower, but still not thinking low enough?
