I would use Mr. Miyagi's technique, paint the fence. Shallow grooves, left hand, raised ribs, right hand. NO sand the floor or wax the car.

Just my two cents, but Cobra Automotive makes soem really nice stuff. The parts are on the pricey side, but well worth IMO.

+1 on Cooper truck tires. No probs on my F-150.

I don't know about the whole line of Cooper passenger car tires, but the Cooper Discoverer HT and HT Plus have been by far the best light truck tires I have ever used on the F-150 and Explorer. The cuurent HT Plus set on SVT rims have over 65,000 miles. I know several Mustang owners who use the Cooper Cobra's and love them. They look correct for the era. Dollar for dollar a great tire. Sorry for your bad luck with them Charles.

what product do you use for glass buffing?

there is also a oil made by kendal that has zinc in it. i run this in my motor with no issues. however my motor is a roller block, and i beat it like a redheaded step child!<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

does someone have a photo of an NOS park brake cable for a 66 car (the one piece part)
-
it is a one piece cable. has no markings on it except for a couple backwards shaped 'S' on the metal fittings that snap into the rear brake backing plates. these also have a bit of yellow paint overspray. the rubber insulators have a couple stripes of light ribbing along their lengths.
-
just bought an NOS cable. how can i confirm this is the real thing. i have not taken my old one out to compare.
