If I'm not mistaken, that's 5F08K283740 selling this weekend at B-J Palm Beach for $60,000. The convertible was for sale recently at Atlanta Muscle Cars @ $65K.

I'm also considering new dual-redline radials. I've purchased a set of new Drake 14x5 original size styled steel wheels and I've talked to Diamondback about their dual-redlines. I want the radial to look as close to the original 6.95x14 bias-ply as possible. Looks like the DB II 195/75 is very close 25.5 height 4.8 width versus the original 25.3 x 4.3.
This car was listed and relisted on ebay early in 2007 -

I live about 30 minutes from the seller, Grand's Antiques, so I called for more info. She said "C4OE-8505-A, and a 1 under the cast number, 4 holes and 8 blades...I counted". Her listing was based on the book description of the #1400 part number on the box.
HiPo2go lives in Burnsville, NC, but he hasn't posted in quite a while.
As much as I love red convertibles, the generator and rust are negatives for me. It will be interesting to see if it goes beyond 25K.
I'll give them a call. I already have 3 '66 date coded wheels and 1 '67.
Did the backspacing change for the 64/65 disk brake cars' standard wheel?
I paid $29. Not cheap, but I didn't hesitate about buying it. No sell or trade at this.
I need a 5-lug 14" standard steel wheel for my spare, with date code 4MG or earlier. Car build date is August 7, '64.
The Cougar II concept looks like a '63-65 Corvette Coupe.
I just received my copy of vol.1 I found on Amazon.com. The seller must have just listed as I was searching. Not cheap, but available.
Add another vote. Good Luck!

Seller's eBay feedback rating is questionable.

Anyone in the Marietta, GA area that could take a quick look at a Kar for me?
I sent my 3734S core to Antique Auto Parts Cellar for rebuild. Decision to use them was based on price and website photos. Turnaround just over a week. Cost $75. Looks nice, I'll install this weekend. This one should do until something better comes along.

My favorite is the shifter boot bolted on top of the carpet with no floating plate.
