I am selling a NOS Ford 289 HIPO bare cylinder head for a Mustang, Fairlane, Shelby GT350, or what ever you want to put it in.

Part number is C8ZE-B, which is the last run of service part heads that were available from Ford. This cylinder head has never been installed, and comes bare (no valves, springs, retainers, or keepers) but does include the factory screw-in rocker arm studs.

Unfortunately, it does not have the original box, but this head was well kept for the past 57+ years.

Shipping for this item will be a flat rate $95 using the shipper of my choice due to the weight.

Please, no international bidding unless you use the EIS system.

I am aware that another eBay seller has the same part listed for sale, so I have decided to match his price. If you want a brand new set of HIPO heads, this is probably one of the last remaining chances to acquire a NOS set.

The parts have been stored for some time and are being sold strictly as FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING. Overall condition is unknown. There is some surface / deep rust and orange/brown discoloration on portions of the parts from storage. I have not had these components professionally inspected, measured, magnafluxed, or tested, so I am making no claims regarding straightness, cracks, dimensions, wear, or serviceability. They may require cleaning, inspection, machining, rebuilding, or other work before being put into service.

This is a nice used original Ford hipo dual point distributor with FOMOCO & part number C5OF-12127-E and date that looks like 5LC ?

It included a Black MotorCraft cap and rotor . The rotor was hard to remove and it chipped at base when prying it off. The cap is old and discolored but looks functional ? It has replacement point innit and a used set that matches the one set in distributor.

Also include in this package are 2 sets of NOS Motorcraft points with C9AZ-12127-C in them and a NOS Motorcraft condenser with C9AZ-12300-A on the box. The items themselves also have Motorcraft stamped on them !

And lastly also included in this package is an original Ford Motorcraft yellow top coil and bracket.

All these items were removed from the a 66 Shelby GT350 Hertz car in 1997 to upgrade to a newer system .

All items are sold as is but I’m sure everything is in working condition. I’m not going to re-install the rotor when shipping due to it being tight to remove.
