This will work with many many Ford V8 engines including 289 302 and 351. Bellhousing has the correct factory drilled and tapped 6 bolt (1965 and up) mounting bolt pattern. There is one alignment pin hole that has a chip, but this will not affect the transmission when installed.

Works with lots of different manual transmissions including 3 and 4 (top loader and Borg Warner) and 5 speed with the adapter plate.

I would run a tap in all of them just to make sure everything is good.

Found this in a crate of my endless collection of vintage Mustang parts.it’s perfect for a real hipo car. Just cleaned it with Simple Green. Still has that stuff they use to use for corrosion protection on the sides was not going to hot tank it. The bolts and clutch fork come with it. Look at all the photos.

Here we have a really nice original 1965-66 Mustang Shelby or 66 67 Fairlane Disc Brake Proportioning Valve. This C5ZZ-2B091-B Factory part was outsourced through Kelsey Hayes a well know supplier of high end 4 piston caliper brakes. This part allows equal brake pressure to all wheels since the disc are far more functional in stopping than the stock drum brakes. This is a necessary piece of the Kelsey Hayes inspired disc brake kit & was used primarily on the GT & the Hipo 289 or K code cars. We might note that Ford used these valves on several of their cars because of the quality & functionality. A high performance part to get the job done right !!

This nice clean original piece is not modified & has damage free threads. As the pictures show there is very little patina as a matter of fact there's actually enough to make it look original to your car. The internals have been recently replaced and while the term rebuilt might apply to it's condition, we offer no warranty or guarantee as we do not want that responsibility. A good clean unmodified piece which is not abused and ready to be inspected to meet your standards. You will find it moves freely and it is not tightened to factory specifications as these require adjustment so you will need to adjust it to your braking needs as there are easy on line instructions.

Automatic, deluxe white and blue pony interior, with wood grained steering wheel, dash, & rally pac gauges with tach & clock. AM / FM radio. Styled Steel wheels including the spare.

Motor is thought to have all of the K code engine components. Heads have the “19 or 21” stamped on the corner of the respective head.

Other options included with the “GT” package with GT badging, twin trumpet exhausts, front fog lamps and distinctive side stripes, automatic transmission with floor shift, styled wheels, “Rallye-Pac” steering column-mounted tachometer and clock, and a deluxe “Pony Interior.” The car is factory-equipped with all of these options and is finished in beautiful “Night-Mist Blue”. Paint looks exceptional, but has collected a few small chips which are shown in the photo’s.

This car is a real head turner loaded with fabulous equipment, the car was reportedly fully restored to factory specifications in 2009 by a New Jersey specialist in Cobras and Mustangs. Mileage shows 86,000. Total mileage unknown.

According to Tony Gregory’s Book “The 289 High Performance Mustang – 4^th Edition”, this car is the last K car recorded in his book, that was built in Metuchen.

DOOR TAG reveals that the car was manufactured in Metuchen, NJ, and was sold new through the New York sales district. Motor is thought to have all of the K code engine components. Heads have the “19 or 21” stamped on the corner of the respective head.

Other options included with the “GT” package with GT badging, twin trumpet exhausts, front fog lamps and distinctive side stripes, automatic transmission with floor shift, styled wheels, “Rallye-Pac” steering column-mounted tachometer and clock, and a deluxe “Pony Interior.” The car is factory-equipped with all of these options and is finished in beautiful “Night-Mist Blue”. Paint looks exceptional, but has collected a few small chips which are shown in the photo’s.

This car is a real head turner loaded with fabulous equipment, the car was reportedly fully restored to factory specifications in 2009 by a New Jersey specialist in Cobras and Mustangs. Mileage shows 86,000. Total mileage unknown.

According to Tony Gregory’s Book “The 289 High Performance Mustang – 4^th Edition”, this car is the last K car recorded in his book, that was built in Metuchen.
