C6ZZKGT · NOS C3OZ 8592 A Thermostat Housing C6ZZKGT August 14, 2024 at 11:35 PM

Here is an Ebay auction for an NOS C3OZ 8592 A thermostat housing by Ebay member "acond classic american auto parts" with a Buy-It-Now of $289.00:

This is a super NOS original Ford thermostat housing which is correct for all 1963 1964 and all 1965 Ford 289 engines built before March of 1965. Mustang, Fairlane, Falcon and all other Ford cars with the 289 engine, including the HIPO 289. It is correct in every detail and flawless NOS Ford. I have had this stored in the garage for many years, but no longer, as it needs to go to someone who can use it. Would look great on a high end show car, like a Cobra, Shelby or HIPO. These early NOS Ford housings are real tough to find because this is the style which has the recess for the thermostat in the intake and this correct early style is not reproduced. No import repro crap here!

C6ZZKGT · Used C5OE Heads C6ZZKGT August 14, 2024 at 10:25 PM

Here is an Ebay auction for a pair of used bare C5OE heads by Ebay member "wildride2" with a Buy-It-Now of $2,499.00 or make offer:

This vintage Ford cylinder head is a perfect fit for your 1965 289 engine. Made of durable cast iron material, it is built to last and ready for installation. The production date code 5C3 ensures its authenticity and adds to its value as a collectible item. This cylinder head is a great addition to your car or truck, perfect for anyone looking to restore their vintage vehicle. Its brand, type, and material are all Ford, Cylinder Head, and Cast Iron respectively. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of automotive history.

I had these heads for several years for a project that I am no longer doing. Since they were setting on the shelf for so long, I sent them to a local machine shop (see pictures) to be checked out and made ready to install. They are now ready for paint and installation.

A matching set of 289 HIPO heads in this close to original condition (ports are original) are very hard to come by.

The heads will be shipped in two separate boxes and I will pay for shipping the second box.
