The same with my car. Registry says is in system but the vin search says not found.
I originally registered my car almost 6 years ago and it was not listed in the 4th edition of the registry.

You got my thumbs up. <img src=images/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
This program is repeated on Spike this coming Saturday, August 2nd at 11:30A.M. central time.
I have already set my PVR to record it.
In my opinion, this car is a modified K code fastback with Shelby parts. The original Shelby is long gone.
If I were to aquire a Shelby vin and put it on my K code, would I then have a real Shelby? I think not.

Have the pertronix on my K for five years now with no problems.
With a convertible you get to have the best of both worlds. Top up when you don't want to be exposed to the outside weather, top down when your feeling as free as a bird.
During my rebuild in 2004, the hardened valve seats where put in. The car runs great as long as I use preminm fuel.
Hope to run into some of you at SAAC or the Mustang Roundup. I will be wearing my K shirt.
Terry.

Anyone here on the forums going to Salt Lake City for Saac 32 this coming weekend or the following weekend for the Mustang Roundup in Bellevue Washington.
Myself and a friend will be at both. We both have K converts. If anyone is going and would like to meet up and chat K codes, let me know.

Woooo-Hoooo <img src=images/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
I have been having similar problems with my top-loader. Once the weather warms up I will be doing a T-5 conversion.
Do you change the oil again in the spring?
[/quote]
No I do not.
I change the oil and filter in the fall at storage time so that no contaminants in the oil are left behind. Byproducts of combustion produce acids in the oil which will harm the inner metal surfaces.
My k has been in heated storage since Sept.30 where it will stay until May 1. Yes it stays in storage for 7 months of the year. Before storage I changed the oil, washed and cleaned the car, filled the tank with fuel and stabil, disconnected the battery but left it in the car and then covered it with a cover. Done.
I like the first one. I would purchase 2 of them for my car. One for the back and one for the front.
