Should there be a rubber bumper on both the bumper plate and the 3rd member bracket?

The bumper I saw in NPD is for the body, not the third member. My mistake. Jim at Shelby Parts (jim@shelbyparts.com) does have the bumper for 3rd member, $50. $$$$

Anyone know where I can buy a reproduction rubber snubber for my 65 kar rear axle snubber assy? The NPD version doesn't look right.

It's a driver. However, it's an all original 65k GT fastback (5T09K). Cars got ~120k miles and all the rubber is cracked and split. I'm thinking I'll take the front and rear suspension apart, get it cleaned and repainted, replace any necessary parts and all the rubber. I want to keep it original as much as possible.

I'm getting ready to go through my 65k suspension to replace bushings, pack bearings, and replace worn parts. Any recommendations on bushing kits? Wondering if they're all the same as NPD. Any feedback or link to related post is welcome!

Thanks Fred. I will replace the windshield seal. Car still has original glass so it's reasonably possible the seal is original - and a leaker.

I've got a leak under my dash behind the instrument cluster and on the other side behind the glove box. I've never had this area apart before, but it looks like the dash panel has support brackets that hook over the edge of the lower cowel panel and it leaks at each bracket attachment. See pic of example behind cluster: http://s461.photobucket.com/albums/qq338/j0ns_photobucket/?action=view¤t=100_0930_rev1.jpg According to the previous owner, the lower cowel panel was replaced years ago. Less than 5k miles on the car since, and always garaged, so if the panel was replaced it should still be good. I can spray lots of water into cowel vent and no leak. Only leaks when water sprayed over bracket attach points - inboard of wiper rotors. Will I need to remove the upper vent cowel panel to repair this?

I thought the same, so i taped over the windshield trim and repeated the test. It still leaked. It seems to only leak when sufficient water is sprayed into the penetration for the windshield wiper rotor. However, as you can see in the photo linked above, the wiper rotor attach point behind the cluster is sound and dry.

Turned out i had a 66 hood latch bracket. The way whoever installed it made it fit was to remove the fastener under the horse bezel and pull the top of the grill back to align with the attach holes. This moved the verticle alignment of the fog lights up so far I couldn't adjust it out. Replacing hood latch bracket with proper 65 version should solve the problem.

Thanks, I found one off a 65 on ebay. Should be here this week. Thanks for the help!

I sent my tach and clock off to tachman.com. I'll post my experience after I get them back.
The big question was whether to go with a mechanical restore or a quartz works for my clock. I opted for both. I'll keep the mechanical on hand and use the quartz.

There is a substantial gap between my grill retainer and the hood latch bracket on my car. Someone in the past filled it with slugs cut from a broom stick handle! See photo link below. Can someone post a pic of correct installation so i can figure out what part i need to replace?

Anyone know where I can get a couple wave/spring washers for my 4sp shift linkage? I've checked NPD, Colorado Mustang, California Mustang, and every hardware store in the Seattle area. No luck!
