• the question is this, if one finds a K code car ( vin with K ) and the engine is not a k ecode engine., if you find a k code block ( in this example lets say the car is a 65 mustang ) from a 66 and the heads are from a 67 ( proper k heads) and restore it that way with k parts from 65 to 66 is the car technically a K code and can it be registered on the K code registry

  • Any Mustang with a "K" VIN can be put in the registry - original drivetrain is potional.<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I personally would like to see it expanded to include other FoMoCo K codes m- but I think there are some others collectong data on Fairlanes and otehrs.


    I does help the be honest about the car, but that will only matter when you sell it.


    The main goal of the regisrty is to locate the cars and get as much info about them now and how they left the factory.
