K Code 65 or 66 Fastback wanted to buy

  • Looking to buy K code fastback - will consider any condition from needing restoration through to restored. I've previously owned a Silver Frost 66 A code GT fastback (pictured below) with the PIO buck tag still intact, regret selling that and now beginning the search to step up to a K Kar.

  • I've had a few 65/66 Mustang fastbacks over the years. In hindsight I think the silver GT was the best early Mustang I've had. I don't want exactly the same thing again, so in my mind a K code is the logical classic Mustang for me.

  • I will be selling mine in the near future if interested. Not sure on value. Car was fully restored, rare C4 car, Nightmist Blue, non GT.

  • I saw your ad looking for a K-code and wanted to reach out. I actually just picked up a 1965 Raven Black Fastback from an estate sale. I was originally hunting for a 406 Galaxie, but the seller mentioned his dad had an old fastback, and it turned out to be an absolute peach of a car that I grabbed in a package deal.

She features some great period Shelby mods (Cobra intake, oil pan, and valve covers). I haven’t been able to locate a VIN stamp on the block, so I’m treating it as a service replacement block.

What makes this car incredibly unique—and likely a 1-of-1—is that she is a June '65 build equipped with the AM/FM slidebar radio, right when Ford first started offering them.

If you're looking for a clean, incredibly rare fastback with a great story, let me know if you’d like to talk details or see some photos.
