NOS 1965-66 Ford Mustang GT350 Shelby Falcon 289 radiator C3DZ-8005-K. Here is an NOS radiator in the original box from Ford. It has the part number of C3DZ-8005-K on it and C4ZE-M2 on the top tank. The top neck measures 1-1/2” in diameter and the bottom neck measures 1-3/4” . This is correct for 260 or 289 V-8. Fords radiators for the Mustang were MFG by Modine and there were different plants that made radiators for the different Ford assembly lines. The Modine plant in Whittier California made the radiators for the San Jose plant that also made the Mustangs that eventually became Shelby GT350’s. The radiators supplied to the Dearborn and Metuchen NJ plants were physically different than the ones made for the San Jose plant that’s why you see different looking top tanks and side straps etc. on radiators in Mustangs . The top tank and side straps on this radiator are correct for a San Jose car therefor aside from a date code etc. This would be almost perfect for a 65 or 66 Shelby GT350 . Todays replacement radiators do not look anything like an OEM Ford radiator from the period and this is one of the first things you see when you open the hood. This radiator is very old but brand new never used. Very cool detail item for your engine compartment. Don’t pass this up these are hard to find in this configuration. For sale is this very nice Ford NOS Radiator. Fits 1964 1965 1966 Mustang Falcon in it's original Ford Parts box. A very slight spot of surface rust on the top of the side mount. I have pictured that area right where the radiator number is stamped- very east correction, I just like to leave NOS parts as they are... Also Notice the stamped Ford part number is on top of the side mount.
