Franken289, sellabilty, and how much do you keep

  • I have this short block and heads listed for sale, and I realized I have “almost” enough extra parts to make a 2nd hipo motor. It was fun mocking it up, and makes me want to keep it just to have.

    So a couple thoughts:

1). Is it more desirable to potential buyers as a complete engine, even if date codes are all over the place? I think I can make more selling each item…if they all sell, but it’s obviously more work

2). I really want to keep it. Lol. But it would help fund the repaint and restore of my 65 fastbacK.

Just putting this out there for discussion or comments

    Thanks,

    Rich

  • I believe that you are going the right way on what you are currently doing.
