Started restoration 4 years and have lost the incentive to complete…too many other projects got in the way. Lots of new parts to be installed. Need to pass this on to someone who will finish the project. Partially apart; engine, exhaust and transmission out, hood and trunk off, interior partially out. This car is a Factory K-Code, equipped with the original serial numbers matching engine and 4-Speed transmission. All of the correct K-code items are present, with the exception of the carb, which was changed to a Carter 625 CFM 4 bbl with an electric choke.
A factory GT, with Parchment with Palomino Pony Interior, non-console, non power steering, style steel wheels. 93,000 original miles, Mustang AM/FM Cassette (currently installed), Factory AM 8-Track (not installed but available), original keys and owners manual, receipts for the past 25 years.
This is a very solid Mustang with NO RUST. The floor pans, torque boxes, shock towers and frame rails are excellent. There are some minor dings and scratches, but nothing major. Needs to be stripped and repainted, vinyl top looks good but seems to be a parchment color rather than white.
