HiPO VIN Stamp

If the block has a VIN stamp it will be above the oil pan rail on the right hand side of the casting near the front. It will have all eleven digits and sometimes the stampings are so light that paint on the block can hide it. I will generally try to chemically remove the paint in that area to check for the stamp if it is not immediately obvious.
