This is a full set of 8 Boss 302 rods. They possibly could be used in a Hi-Po 289, but these dont have the oiling hole in the crank journal housing or square head bolts. These bolts have the football head as should be. These are specifically for Boss 302 engines. Bought years ago and 7 seem to be balanced as a group, and one has more end material than others, so it can be lightened.

I cannot accept credit or debit cards as I have no means to do so. I dont know why eBay insists on putting them in payment methods.

Apparently the seller ended up getting these returned as they were no longer press fit on the pins. They are now back om Ebay here:

1963 - 1965 SHELBY 289 COBRA

1965 - 1967 MUSTANG

(FITS ALL MODELS & ALL BODIES) 289 HIPO V8

The piston end of the rods have been honed oversize and will not work as standard press fit onto the standard wrist pin.
The rods can be honed more and bushed to size for using click fit pistons using spiralock clips on the ends of the wrist pins. These would become free floating rods at that point. You will need to spend the additional $200.00-$300.00 to have them machined. In addition the click fit pistons cost approximately $200.00 more than traditional pistons.
