These rods were listed as NOS? and being as the small ends had evidence of having been quite hot, I ruled out the NOS? statement in my mind. When installing and unistalling press fit rods, the current best way is to heat the small ends to make the pin move more easily. Being as they had been heated at least once for that R&R procedure, my determination is that they may or may not have been run, but they were not NOS. The seller was honest in their description with the NOS? as it gave the buyer the opportunity to determine the possible NOS status for themselves.
