    Here is an Ebay auction for a rebuilt C5OE 8505 B Hipo water pump by Ebay member "hartbroscoreco" with a Buy-It-Now of $599.99:

    For sale is a professionally rebuilt water pump for the following applications:

    1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT with 289ci K code engine

    The Casting number is C5OE-8505-B. This pump will come with new mounting gaskets and a new back plate. This pump was rebuilt with a new aftermarket 6-fin Hi-Po water pump impeller.

    This is the RARE water pump that was used between the aluminum C5AE-8505-C (non-backing plate) and the cast iron C6OE-8505-A (with backing plate). This pump was used for 4 months from late May through August of 1965.

    This auction is for a professionally rebuilt water pump for a High Performance 289 (HiPo / K Code). The original HiPo impeller was damaged while being rebuilt, so this was rebuilt with a reproduction HiPo impeller. The casting number on the water pump is C5OE-8505-B. There is no date code on this water pump, however these were only used in production from May 1965 to August 1965. This is a cast iron body water pump, and includes the backing plate.

    There were no issues noted with this water pump. The water pump is being sold as is.
