5S451 - $1.15 million

  • Beautiful; hopefully it will end up in the hands of someone who will show it from time to time. Is it possible that these are part of the modifications that took place while the car was used in the school?: Fram oil filter, non-hipo fuel pump, zerk fittings on tie rods (it is likely they were wearing them out too fast), aftermarket strut rod bushings & hardware? Did Ford use a square-hole leaf spring clip or are they AMK repros? Nonetheless, cool car and a wonderful piece of history. There will likely be a lot of scrutiny of the car by SAAC folks and other Shelby owners who will comment on authenticity. With the car's provenance it certainly is a neat machine.
