Are the repo's with the brace welded in ok for shows or should i try and find one without the brace thanks Otto

What class? I doubt if very many judges would ding you for a repro. Good originals and/or NOS are difficult if not impossible to find. I suppose you could cut/grind the brace out if you had to...
