    Hello all!I am once again re-installing my nos bezel&guage cluster on my early K fastback.I had some electrical gremlins to deal with.I remember the last time I re- installed it I had many war wounds afterwards!This time I was trying to go thru the speaker cutout in the dash,and was bleeding and unsucessful!!I can't remember how I got it on the last time dag blast it!Any one got a easy way to do this?Someone told me to come from underneath the dash but I can't seem to reach anything.HELP!!!!!This not only agravating but also painfull!THANKS GUYS!RANDY

    Hello all!I also am very interested in the system,and very interested in obtaining one!My K car unfortunately(or fortunately?!)had the C7FE Shelby race cam installed when it was rebuilt in the early 90s(couldn't find the standard HIPO cam!)I have been running old cyclone style headers with turbo style mufflers that came on the car.I believe that I may have some restriction problems running stock manifolds.I have a set of hipo manifolds that are modified,I wonder if I could have them bored out or something and run them with the ARVINODE system which appears to be lower resatriction than the transverse system?!Any body have any input on this???I am kinda in a spot which is why I have not done anything about the exhaust yet.My KAR has old exhaust hangers intact which look like they are for the std. system,but I have yet to verify this,so I just am unsure of which course to take!As always,you guy's are great!Thanks for any input!Randy

    THANKS ALOT BOB&66ZZ!!!!You guys are great!I bought the pump from 65 SPECIAL K,and I believe him to be very knowledgeable,trustworthy and a great guy to deal with(ultra fast shipping!)So I really didn't check any part numbers.I was reading Tony's book and was surprised to see a different part#!!I have had my K for over 16 yrs,and unfortunately my restoration budget is slim due to my inability to work fulltime and caring for a disabled wife and son.I am desparately still trying to do my car right,with the most correct parts!I very much appreciate all your help cos I just don't have alot of xtra time!!!Thanks again!Randy

    Hello All!I hope the new year finds everyone well &happy and doing happy K code stuff!!I am wondering ,I just purchased a hipo water pump on e bay.I was so entranced by the 64 date code,that I did'nt check the part#S!According to Tony's book the part# is C5OZ-8501-A,CASTING#C5OE. I have part# C5AE-8505-C,IT HAS THE CORRECT 3 HOLE 6VANE IMPELLER!!What the heck have I bought!?aS ALWAYS i CAN TRUST YOU GUYS TO GIVE ME THE SKINNY ON THESES PARTS!!!Thanks,Randy P.S.     Hi Guys!I know this is a little after the fact but,The very first K code was Henry Ford's personal K coupe.According to NPD's facts on the car it had a custom scattershield,leather type pre-pony interior,AND POWER DISC brakes,AND power steering!?with a Ford type pump.Who's to say they never did anything,SHELBY himself installed AC units on at least 2 HERTZ cars,and some of the 66 converts he made!?Who knows!It's definately too bad FORD didn't take some clues from Henry himself.I will never understand why they spent all the money on the K motor on my car and ordered the ultra crappy drum brakes!?

    Hi!I haven't ascertained if my Jan 65 K is an ARVINODE car but I believe it is in the range.Also NPD is looking to reproduce this system as well,and are looking for parts and diagrams.Maybe I'll crawl under and check this weekend.My car has some of the original exhaust hangers.I am interested in this system,Thanks and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!RANDY

    Dear 66 k kar,I agree that you are in a bad spot, but don't give up.I have had my K for almost 17 years and when I had a little Boy ,then my wife had 2 strokes and was disabled,my garage rotted out and almost fell in on my "baby"I tried to get it running after sitting a year,(And failed) I had some idiots (make that Chevy lovers)work on my car resulting in the oil pan being left off for weeks(I couldn't get out to the car I had to take care of my baby and sick wife!)My beautiful rebuilt hipo was almost ruined!SOB!!But I didn't give up!I sold some of my posessions and with my pal Kevin at KAR(A real nice Guy!)The phoenix rose from the ashes!I agree with the others try to keep the dist.&the fan !Your floors can always be done any time,maybe it would be wise to address the cowl area first.As my friends at KAR say(Hi George!)how can you be having abad day?Youv'e got a K code!!I feel bad for you and truely hope your luck improves in the K department.Please don't give up!Take care,Greg!Hopefully yours,RANDY

    To Mikes family and friends all I can say is I'm so very sorry!!I have serious issues taking care of my Disabled wife and Autistic son all by myself and I admit to having some very unhealthy thoughts at times and the complete sadness of this has touched me deeply,and is helping me to realise that there's allways another way! I deeply love my little boy,too and My tears flow when I think of his family's tragic loss(and ours too)I never had any contact with him ,but I too even feel terribly saddened by this tragedy.My deepest condolences to all who knew him,RANDY

    Hi Guys!(And Gals!?)Thanks to Alex for your input!I am glad I haven't gotten a repo door plate yet!I went to the Kar last week and I realised that the air vent handle does not have the "A".I am very interested in any and all info on these cars.Hope to take the beast out this weekend.There won't be many more chances before old man winter sets in!Thanks,Randy

    Hi!I have a K code 2+2 made Dec.64 OR Jan 1965.It's missing the door tag,so I'm keenly interested in your research (s#5r09k179361)I had thought it was a late Dec 64 but incomparing it to some #s in the K bible I came up with @Jan 16th.I am wanting to peg it exactly if possible I am pushing towards an mostly nos resto so it really matters!The block and heads date Sept 64&Dec 64.It has the A on the vent,64 style hood bumpers,3 wire blower w center off,screw on wiper bezel nuts, and the carriage bolt for the spare.I hope any of this helps ,wish I had the door tag!!!Thanks,Randy

    Hello fellow K fans!I DESPERATELY need help finding a r.h. facing oil dipstick tube!No body I can find repos these(not Drake anyway!)I believe the r.h. tube was also used on ac/ps equipped cars,as well.Everbody seems to have one on their car!?Where can I find one?My hipo has the center mount tube(one of the wrong things previous owners had installed)and I cant relocate my coil to the correct position.I am running a Shelby hi rise int.&715 Holley!Also what is the correct coil bracket to use?Thanks ever so much for your help!     Hi Herb!!I have been collecting Mustangs for@ 25 years,specializing in High performance models.I have had many rare Mustangs including GTs,a 67 K code,and a 68 1/2 R code Convertable!!Right now I have the 65 Caspian blue non GT k code.I got 17 years ago,it's a California black plate car(W/original dealer license plate frame!)It is basically unrestored,rust free body,with the original numbered drivetrain complete from motor mounts to the 9" rear.The interior was a horrible 70s Jc Whitney abortion,so I have done alot of work on that.It is not a show car(YET)but it is nice!I had to rebuild the motor when I bought it,and at the time I could only obtain the C7fe Lemans cam,and added a 1966 Shelby Hi rise,715 Holley and headers.I am currently trying to add NOS parts,and replace the few import parts on the car.I had a friend who helped me some but he only wants to drive my car like an absolute maniac,so I dont want him near it again!!!(I found him a Black 66 k code,ingrate!!)I as I mentioned have unfortunate family issues which keep me from the car but I still do the best I can.I do scour around alot and find a lot of stuff still (I've always been lucky, that way!)but I cant get around as much as I'd like.I'm hoping to find a fellow K car nut to share our cars,info, parts and my resources with.Please feel free to contact me in any way !!I'd love to hear about YOUR CAR too!!!Thanks so much,Randy
