Nice correct driver quality car. Car has had one repaint done poorly about 20 years ago. The car has never been hit anywhere that I can tell. The fenders have never been removed from the car. The only rust is a small spot on the drivers door on the lower front corner. The original vin stamped engine is still in the car and has no issues. The trans has been relplaced with a later model top loader. I do not have the original 4spd for the car. The car does have the original rear end. The original carb has just been rebuilt by Pony and works great. The rally pack was restored by the Tack-man. Front disc brakes rebuild about a year ago. Engine has a original sims cobra T oil pan.

Sadly even if you did try to sell, finding a willing buy is hard. In April I agreed to sell my 66KGT coupe back to the guy I bought it from. He went to his bank. To refinance his house. He had over $50,000 equity in. The bank said "sorry we arn't doing that now". When banks wont loan money it's hard for anyone to do anything. I am in construction and last month was the best one we have had this year. Still only making about have what I did before 9/11 though. I hope we are at the end of this ression. I know whatever I sell now I will never be able to afford to replace in the future.

Hope to make it. I need my yearly Dos Gringos fix!

I have heard good things about them when they were Keith Craft. They did a motor in a friends 67 GT500. He has Lots of good thing to say about them. Sorry QP was a waist of your time!

Bo, you must not know me very well. The buyer used to be my brother-n-law. Then we were room-mates for awhile. I am not mean often but when I am, I am good at it.

Here is a photo of what I have on mine. The plug is not hex shaped but round with a large slot and the safty wire hole in it. The plug was also used in Ford indusrial dist. to cover the hole for the govenor.

The guy I bought me 66 KGT coupe from has been mouning about how he misses it. Yesterday he and I came to an agreement that would return the car to him. He was so excited he called twice last night to tell me his wife blessed the deal and things looked good. Today he called to let me know the bank look like they would loan the money. That's when I reminded him that yesterday was April fools day. The phone went dead for awhile. I think he was loading his gun. I let him think it was all a joke for about 30 seconds. Before I let him know that the deal was still on. Glad he lives 30 miles away or I might be dead!

I like the look of the console on the early Mustangs, but not so much on the 69/70. I guess cause you rarly see them in early cars but most later ones have them. Plus the console will hide the poor fitting carpet!

Only if you are working on a Camaro!

Buy it now of 3 grand. May have been a Shelby raceing Trans. Haaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the feedback on QP. I hate it when people I recomend don't live up to expectations. I called and talked to the owner, Kenny Northum. He has read you emails and would like to hear from you personally. If you get a chance call and ask for Kenny. He explained to me why it is talking so long, but two months of bad comunication is hard to dismiss.

Quote from dunc289I applaud your decision to put the original data plate back on, as it is.....A restored car that has THE piece that identifies it absolutely, should show its age and unmolested condition. Kind of like new old friends....they aren't making any. The Kar will obviously be restored, but the ID tag will be more or less untouched, showing "where it came from".
My thoughts exactly
Front part should work. My 65 2+2 had 64 carpet as well
I do like the way they klean thier Kars a Street Dreams Texas. Might have to make a trip on wash day.
