Sold for $44,000 with commission. Was one of the cars that came out unscathed after the tents collapsed.

With the car being a legit T-5, the car will definitely be worth more than a K-code Mustang convertible. The T-5 will generally bring about 5-10% more money. The car is much more rare than a K Mustang and collectors are willing to pay more for rarity. There are only 11 known K code T-5s known to exist from 1965-1967. I just sold my K code T-5 coupe at Russo Steele and there was a lot of interest due to it being a T-5 and it sold for much more than a regular K coupe. I restored the car myself to concours standards. I have had it judged twice, recieving a gold and bronze in concours driven. The time I recieved the bronze quite a few things were deducted that should not have been because the judge was not well versed in T-5s. If you're interested in discussing the T-5 at length, just send me a personal message with your phone number and I can call you. I am pretty knowledgable about the T-5s.

I have a mint set of L & R hipo heads both dated 5C18(March 18, 1965) from an original 32K mile car. Posi Loc seals, new exhaust valves, NO previous porting or alterations. 19 & 20 on heads. I would like to trade for a set of mid November to December 10th heads, same date, no mismatched sets or alterations. If interested I will send pics.

Does anyone have a pic of the rubber pad that is stapled to the fan shroud on the battery side? Also, does anyone have a pic of the correct flat tip fan shroud attaching screws? Where can I get these items? These are MCA concours jugded items that I need to have. Thanks for your help.

I have personally seen the car and have info on it if anyone is interested. It is not worth anywhere near what the current bid is in my opinion. The owner has almost that much into it though.

I have a NOS 4201S fuel pump that I am going to sell. It has never been installed. It is still in the original Carter box. It has the 4201S stamped into the base with the button top and dual springs. I am going to make it available to the HIPO members before I put in on E-Bay or the Shelby site. I can send pics. I am asking $1000. E-mail me or send me a PM if you are interested.
Thanks,
Rob

Gary Hanson, the leading T5 expert, can tell you a lot about the T5. He has a registry that had kept record of T5s since the early 80s. Kinda like the Shelby registry. You can contact him via this site. Hope this helps.

I am having a rear end tag made by MartiAuto and need the correct info for the tag. I have a 66 T-5(DSO 95) k-code coupe that was built July 8th of 66. It is a 3.50:1 open rear and was built at the Metuchen plant. I gave Marti all of this info but they said they didn't know what code were needed for the rear tags and I should just copy an existing tag. Could anyone help with the number needed?
Thanks,
Rob
