I will be traveling soon from Central Fl (Melbourne/Palm Bay) to Fitzgerald, Ga to the Pace trailer plant to have a side escape door installed into my 24' trailer.
I'd be glad to haul just about anything for fellow HPMX members to help ofset my fuel costs, my travel times are flexible. LMK.

If I am understanding Bob's book right my July 27 scheduled build date Dearborn '65 may not have had this condensor originally, the book talks about after July 9th Ford going to an internal condensor....The judge that judged my car at Jax says I need 1.....
This is the one with the bracket in the center, unique to '65s from research I believe the pn to be C5TA-18827-A looking for a NICE used, NOS or repro if they exist. Thanks!!
I'm surprised to hear that the decal is wider than the top of your radiator support-mine takes up the whole width but does not hang over-are you absolutely sure you've got the correct decal?

I'm assuming these are the top quality concours correct ones....
My coolant decal on my July '65 Dearborn car was puton the top edge of the radiator support just off center of the radiator cap about 1/2" if that helps...not sure how that placement was arrived at though....
I highly recommend P S Auto Glass in Wi. They did my windsheild and door glass for my '65 K GT Convertible, its perfect, and the new door glass matches the 47 year old original vents and quarters, GREAT folks there to deal with!!!
I certainly wasn't bashing the Zoom product, there are probably more than 1 pressure plate (rating)on the market.....I was 16 years old when I bought my first one and had absolutely no idea what it was execpt a Purple NEW clutch setup....
Yea, Its a cool car, not really much "Mustang" there execpt the fiberglass body.....I guess most here don't care for stuff like this....not really my cup of tea, but since I saw their truck with the website advertised I was interested in checking it out.....I think it might be at Don Garlits drag racing museum now????

I got THESE 3 bolt ones from Jack and installed on my '65 K GT Convertible. Fit and look perfect to me, hardware was also perfect!

I got mine from Brant and company at VA Mustang-they have both stainless and plain steel-I would highly recommend stainless for obvious reasons.
OK, Thanks! so if the decal were put on the back at the factory and a mechanic or owner really wanted to read it it would be somewhat of a challenge IMO......
I don't take any chances with the ethinol gas...I always use the 2 year dose of Sta-Bil with all gas I put into my car-I believe that my recently rebuilt/restored fuel pump and 4100 carb were done with materials that will be ok with this crap gasoline we are forced to use today.
Something else you might want to consider is the addition of a spring in your lower radiator hose....these cars originally had them and the repro hoses don't come with them but the springs are available separatly now, I had a simmiliar problem like you described and my engine was running a bit warm, I added the spring and all is well now.
Where does the decal go to be correct? mine was put on the passengers side at the 9 0'clock position and some seem to say it should be at 12 0'clock dirrectly oposite the "289 Hipo" decal....
