Does the emergency brake handle have white painted letters or unpainted?

All valid possibilities...Ones I considered when having a similar problem before I found the PCV hose at the back of the carb came loose!

There was a good thread (or two) awhile back about synthetic oil, viscosity, etc. It was very informative, and had some links to outside sites, where a lot of the mysteries were cleared up.
Anyone know where this topic went?
How do people feel about using synthetiK oil ???
Does it matter if your rear main seal has ben replaced w/ the rubber seal over the old rope seal?..
My Kar doesn't leak or use a drop now that I've replaced the old rope seal w/ the new type, but I still use std. 10W-30 petro oil.
What if I went to 5W-30 or even 5W-20 synthetic?
Opinions...facts...theories...science..???

I bought a set of five from the ebay link above. They appear to be nice enough, but I paid more than what mmv is asking. Although shipping was free (or minimal?) I think I paid about $35.

Thanks again Charles....

I bought that battery from carmans garage last year...about that same price. At the time, they were the only ones that had it available. I'm still walking a little funny, but at least it was (and still is) a maintenance free battery.
Lets see how long it lasts...So far so good... a real nice battery

They look OK to me, but since I never had them, I don't know if they're correct...Charles?....grey or white opaque?

However, I'm told ( by an elder gentleman that sold Fords in New Jersey in the 60's) that you could order something called a "visibility package" (or some similar name) This "visibility package" came with; Windshield washers, three speed heater fan, day/night mirror, and....backup lights. and apparently could be ordered on any Mustang.

Where can I find a proper screw cover for the fastback ?
They had five, but if I can get even one, I think I can figure out how to have a full set made.
