  • HiPo Long Block - what is it worth?

    A change in Mustang restoration plans leaves me with a HiPo Long block for sale and I was hoping to get some feedback on what would be an estimated price range to expect that I could sell this for. I would appreciate any feedback. (I did the forum and ebay search - just not a lot out there to compare with) Please send me a private message with your thoughts if that works better for giving me your input.


    This engine was professionally rebuilt a number of years ago. This engine has NOT been installed or run in a vehicle since the rebuild. The motor is bored to .30 over with a 10/10 crank.


    Casting numbers on the block are C5AE 6015E with a build date code of 5J1, which decodes to September 1st, 1965. HiPo heads both have a “20” cast on them with date codes of 5K6 and 5C18. The intake manifold casting number is C60E 9425 B with a date code of 5E1. A VIN number is NOT present on the passenger side of the block.
