Welcome, some nice survivors show up and they are really important to us as they are often a template for correcting previous changes to our own K's. We would really welcome the details of your data plate, we can then crossreference to ours. Again, hope to see pic's as soon as you can.![]()

My father had an early Mangusta, had a Boss 302 I believe...

-
Mark, what a feast for the vintage eyes....Had one Elan and 16 Sevens. The Plus 2 the elegant choice for sure. Were there any right hand drive Cobras, do you know any Cobra owners in England? A PM would be appreciated...

One wonders what was in the other " round circle " on the dash, if not a tach, in 1967.

-
I've only seen 67 Shelby's but they are 8,000 rpm, not 6,000 rpm tach.

Ralph and all others, I seek a top loader as complete as I can get it, shifter is really, really desireable, so I can bolt it in with minimum parts and difficulty. A K-code would be a waste cause my car is a restomod switching from a C-4 to 4-spd. K code parts belong on a K-code, I feel. I need all the things to switch. Thanks.

CUT-OUTS " ? OH OH !

-
does it fit a 289 block?

-
looking for a top loader for my 6 bolt 289. what do you have?

Guys, my little hard top brakes are squealing and I think it is time for pads...the question is....what are the best pads, performance-wise? and how about OE rotors, are they available? Opinions? thanks

-
Not sure you if you have a hipo or stock fastback. Of course either is good, but if you are looking for regular parts that fit either, we can help some, but if its hipo stuff you want for a hipo car we can help even more.

-
That would be a worthy effort, not easy I'm sure.

-
HUH?! easy there....

-
I'd just take the stock distributor and Pertronix it!

Well....that and the fabulously TUNED sound , the product of a design utilizing LOW back pressure, as in the least back pressure. I may consider that change after the weather turns, now are the days I want to enjoy this great ride. By the way, with the windows rolled up it is quiet, tight, quick and responsive. The GT from America that came from the factory fully decked out and elegant with its black vinyl top on antique bronze. Drive your Kars, I say!!!

-
I have heard that from other " racers ", and the ones that went into the Kar are non-zerc fitting U-joints. Will pick up today, but will test drive before paying..... I've been bit a few times recently...Stay tuned....

Analysis; failure of a bearing cup on the front U-joint. The cracks in the housings can't be fixed, so replacements have been fitted. Trans totally rebuilt, tho probably didn't need it but I wasn't asked. I had the spare parts but they didn't ask that either. oh well. Small tweeks and I will see how it runs. Stay tuned.
