I'm a gonna try that too

SWEET that is a stunning display. Can you do one that is for a RestoMod 66 convert?

-
THE obvious breathing enhancement, if you can't touch the heads. There have been many gains in the camshaft and valvetrain world. There is roller this and roller that, and the weights are down to nothing, so we are left with the core HiPo prizes of the heads, the block/caps, the balancer, water pump, pulley, dual point, autolite 4100,....what have I missed? This engine is the focal point for us of this site. A gem for all time.

-
clearly, we on the Ex change would ALL like to see what EXACTLY you have, so ask for help, and we will get it all up here for all to d to see!!see.Exciterd

That is a very specific build. tell us about the valve springs, the valves, and their sizes, the cam lift and duration. Many of our readers don't realize the gains associated with getting the engine to breathe. the heads have to be right, [ HIPO!} and then moving the gasses.what is the carb? hipo or other? Very sweet, thanks for sending the evidence of the real thing in motion!!

There are a few aftermarket suppliers that have all kinds of extra support braces offered for the non-verts, but are there any that really help the overall structure of a convert, won't they all "bend" in the usual places? Won't the only cure be an ugly cage?

post those sites so we can all enjoy.

Ron, will the 8.50's fit in the well without mods? have you got the largest rubber that will fit in the wheelwell? The race coupe in a recent entry, [ couper ] said he had 8.50's in the rear. Do you know if they can be made to fit? Is shipping a deal killer? I have a set of 15X7 Styled steel wheels with decent rubber. Seems freight has gone up and is a real facor for moving things around.

Couper, I'm showing my ignorance, but what do you mean by the number " 6.00" and " 7.00" after the 15X7 and 15 X 8.5 ? is that an offset? the exact offset is important. Beagle1 has some for sale and I am interested, so you might help me here.

Rene', that is so cool that you found him and got all that info!!I have never personally seen that color to my knowledge, and since my Kar was an unknown color[ no color on the data plate] I am curious about all colors in the 'gold' range. My original owner died and the Kar went to a Corvette collector who bought it as a condition for buying a Corvette. I am planning on trying to find his son, but am a long way away and its way down the list, and not even on the ' honey-do' list. good luck.

Ron, I would love to have those on my 66' vert, but need to check to se if they will fit over the larger disc/caliper/hubs of the Torino we put into the car.[ this is NOT the K-GT ]. If you have an idea, let me know.

What wheels are you using?

-
Very nice, would you consider selling it?

-
a fantastic engine bay, you should be proud!
What did you do to the headers to make them look so good? Sweet. -
Merlyn, yes, please. I would like to see it, and will probably get it. Thanks.

I answered my own question, K.A.R. has them for $89 +++. I will think over your offer.

-
I am interested, and also am considering having one made, I was looking for someone who does them, does Motive make one just like the original, and.... where are these guys?. How good is it.?

-
To get to the heart of the matter, i.e., how rare is it?,what ever you get will be an estimate. I have a K-code convertible, factory GT, automatic, with bench seat and no color code. I have the original window sticker. It's rare, but there can still be another one out there. And the real question, have any others survived, WE DON'T KNOW. we can only wait and see......BUT K GT PONY CONVERTS are rare in Mustang land, no question.
