Windsor heads had 1.82 intake and 1.56 exhaust, a few thousanths smaller than Chevy, still Ford, and leaving a little more to cut, in the future, when these heads are even rarer.![]()

The first 4100 I put on the 347 wouldn't idle well or run smoothly, long hesitation..... then I put a freshly restored pony restored 4100 that I paid to have done, not one ' someone said was restored by them' and it runs quite well, my distributor needs some tweeking 'cause it jumps the advance too far at low rpm's, but thats not the carbs fault.

I just got them as part of an early engine I was after, so I haven't looked at them at all. Will get back to the forum this weekend, possibly Sunday evening.
-
I think it is sold. I have a pair of 63 hipo heads, the hi compression 11 to 1, small combustion chambered ones. Anyone interested?

Lots of dolled-up wanna-bes out there, this site supports those who are working toward original, while respecting and admiring the others.

-
They are both 4D24 date coded, with fresh valves, hardened exhaust seats, freshened intake seats, new oil seals, lightly surfaced, with springs and retainers. They will go on ebay next sunday. Cheers.

I have a pair of 65 hipo heads, freshly gone through and assembled. I would like $1500.00 for them, as I spent a ton of money getting them to this stage. Reply here!

Thanks, Don, hope you can help me.

I am looking for a 67 C-4 selector body. Anyone?

-
The KEY Word here is " replace ", as in....put identical piece in place of another.... Swap might be a more appropriate word, as in engine swap, to improve or CHANGE to something else... a bent fender being replaced with an unbent one doesn't represent the same intent to misrepresent or defraud the unsuspecting.....

-
EXACTLY...!!!!! NO POINTS GAINED OR LOST.... It's like a scruffy original window sticker...Get a replacement so it looks crisp and new??? There are so many bogus window stckers, there can be any number id plates too. The original authenticates better than a replacement..... NO POINTS LOST, PLEASE !!!

-
I applaud your decision to put the original data plate back on, as it is.....A restored car that has THE piece that identifies it absolutely, should show its age and unmolested condition. Kind of like new old friends....they aren't making any. The Kar will obviously be restored, but the ID tag will be more or less untouched, showing "where it came from".

-
I have a couple, but the one that works is on the car, the others, well....I have a 347, so that might affect its' peerformance when installed, but its a genny.

I might have an Autolite.... stick shift of course..?

-
I just was reminded that Charles might appear with a fresh restored K code or two, any chance Charles?

-
That makes two, anyone else feeling brave? Come on...! I am taking my K for its first drive anywhere, on a 800? mi trip to a place I know nothing about... am I crazy, or should others also venture out? I need a roomate too, should anyone wish to share....

-
Are you going to use the Holley or are you switching to the Autolight?

-
I plan to bring "goldie" to her first meet under my banner. SteveP has been very generous helping me to figure out how to make it happen. Are there ANY other K codes going, or will I be the Lone Ranger?? I hope there will be others as our special K group needs some exposure, don't you think? Reply here
