The problem with this is there are sellers who have no idea what a high price is, and will be shooting themselves in the foot to put one on. This was the case with this seller.
Also this case was a little different … for everyone who contacted him he was very clear, he asked for an offer, as this was through an estate and that was the process he had to follow.
Every rule has exceptions, and I think this might be one example. I agree, in most cases a price is fine and good, but IMO, we should accommodate sellers in situations like this as well.
My main thing is I would just hate for us to lose out on these opportunities.
Please let me know if I’m missing something.

Good to know Fred, thanks.
Any idea if this is what it looks like?

Yes, same one. I got that motor and trans.

Just a thought, you may want to copy a few of the actual pictures or screenshots to here, as when the listing on eBay expires it will not be viewable here

Thank you Fred! Was a good score.

Just got a hipo motor and it had this road draft tube attached. It does clear the hipo exhaust manifold, going between it and the engine. However, it doesn't look exactly like the diagram in Bob Mannel's book, which has two support straps. It also looks a little straighter at the bottom.
Anyone know if it is?
Trying to find the unicorn....
PS: It "may" be from a Fairlane too, as looks like they transplanted the motor from a Mustang into a Fairlane.

Burmesch-Wisconsin,
Sent you a message on chat. Very interested and not too far from you I'm guessing.Yes, located just north of Milwaukee. Am just working on price. Shoot an offer, as I need to get back to several interested on other platforms.
Thanks,
Ok, will shoot you a message with my phone & number.
You know how to get to chats on this site?

This is the other cam. It came in a Hipo tube but wasn’t obviously. Can’t find any end marks, but right before the last journal has a big cast “R” and what looks like a “9F” or “PF” stamped below it.
Any info would be appreciated
Thanks

Have two cams from a recent purchase.
One is an NOS C9OZ-6250-C, which I understand is a high performance cam for hydraulic lifters. Interestingly, the 1970 MPC lists it for 289 - “All high perf vehicles” and “use with high riser aluminum manifold”
Anyone have any more info on it?
I’ll put the other one in a separate post.
Thanks
