This last weekend I stumbled across a VIN stamped HEH-T Toploader case.
VIN stamp is 5R07K134101
Does anyone know the whereabouts of the Kar/owner? I would love to get this case back to the Kar.
Thanks

For sale is a NOS pair of Koni Adjustable 82-1389 Special "D" 1964.5 - 1970 Mustang shock absorbers
These rear shocks are new and unused, I am just not sure as to how old they are.
Next to the Special "D" logo on both shocks is 306, could be March of 2006 date code? I am unsure, if anyone knows, I'd love to be informed.
Koni stopped making this style/look of the shocks in 2007 I believe.
Comes with the original paper instructions.
There are a few light marks and nicks in the paint, as well as remnants of tape on one of the tubes.
Comes with its original bushings, mounting hardware and plastic nut protective caps.
Asking $275 plus shipping. would consider a trade or partial trade for NOS 65/66 Mustang parts (NOS interior parts, front marker lights, very nice original black 65/66 steering wheel, NOS 65 standard glove box door, NOS door handles and window handles etc)
Feel free to ask any questions
Thanks
Beautiful manifold. Good luck with the sale. I have one very similar to your A intake but the plenum has been machined…seemingly to allow for cross flow. Anyways, just curious, how/why did you end up with three great 9424s?!?
I attained these intakes over time, right place at a swap meet, traded this and that for one of them etc. Just something I like to collect and eventually let go. I have 4 other intakes separate from these 3 listed, all different variations of the over-the-counter intake. I also have a 4th real 66 gt350 cobra intake, but it was heavily modified by the previous owner its purely a wall hanger at this point.
I collaged photos together so that the thread remains reasonably organized, not flooded with a ton of photos (I am aware though I have a lot of photos posted already).
I have created 3 separate listings/posts for the 3 intakes labeled and pics annotated "A", "B", and "C".
Would definitely be willing to meet semi locally to the Seattle area (Bellingham and Portland Oregon are about as far as I would like to travel).
Intake “C” – Rear Firing Pad, Angled A, OECO Stamp
This intake is earlier than my “A” and “B” intakes. This intake though has heli-coils installed in the 2 front thermostat mounting holes, but all other threads are good.
Corrosion is not quite as bad as my listed “B” intake, but does show corrosion mainly on the rear mounting surface and a little at the thermostat housing face. Intake had the front drivers side ear broken off at some point and was repaired. I took 2 pics with flash to show the inside of the water jacket at the ear, there is still a crack on the inside that I would recommend being welded up. Everything else is good on the intake.
Asking $750 $600 plus shipping due to repaired ear, corrosion and heli-coils

Intake “B” – Front runner firing order, angled A, OECO Stamp.
Intake has heli-coils installed on the 2 thermostat housing bolts, as well as all 4 carb stud mounts. All other threads are good.
Intake also shows corrosion over time, especially around the water jackets. I used a metal pick to point to where the corrosion was the deepest on the rear surface. The intake was also coated (done by the previous owner ) with an automotive clear coat, so I lightly fine glass beaded the clear off. Other than the clear coat and the heli-coils, no modifications have been made.
Same as Intake “A”, the A in the COBRA plate is very slightly clipped / angled, if someone more knowledgeable could confirm that this intake is a clipped / angled A intake, I would greatly appreciate it.
Asking $1,100 $950 plus shipping due to heli-coils and corrosion.

Intake “A” – Hands down the nicest intake of the three.
Intake has VERY, very little corrosion overall. Stamped OECO on the underside post, heat shield not dented up. No stripped threads, no heli-coils installed, no modifications made. The A on the COBRA plate appears to be very slightly clipped / angled? Not as drastic as intake “C” I have for sale. If someone more knowledgeable could confirm that this is a clipped A and not a non-clipped A intake I would greatly appreciate it. Clipped / angled A
Version 66.3 from Dave’s SAAC Forum 66 Shelby Intake Chart: Front runner firing order, angled A, OECO stamp.

I have more specific, detailed photos of the parts available via PM, just didn't want to flood the thread with a thousand photos.

Thank you for posting this link. It is a nice housing but unfortunately not an original. It is a made up housing using 8" axle tubes.
The distributor is an October 1963 second week. It looks good but it is more for a Fairlane or Cobra.

Hi Fred,
Out of curiosity and my future knowledge, how specifically do the 8" axle tubes differ from the 65/66 HiPo 9" axle tubes. What was it in the craigslist picture of the axle housing that tipped you off?
My October 64 Dearborn K fastback has its original 3:50 rear end and I found the same 9 or 6 inside the housing, but no oil deflector.

For sale is a 1967 Mustang / Cougar Factory Vacuum Tilt Steering Column. It is not complete as it is missing parts here and there. Not intended to be a direct swap.
I have not had this column installed on a working car so I am unable to verify if all of the tilt mechanisms work fully at this time.
The harness is un-spliced, plastic connector is not broken and pins are intact as well as the upper plastic portion/horn contacts of the harness. There are two dents on the column, one at the base of the tube, and one on the upper removable steel collar.
The inner steel spring inside the plastic vacuum canister is rusted and broken, but plastic housing is intact. Overall the column is in great shape with very few little nicks and small dents, which can be easily hidden with a little high build primer.
If additional pictures are needed or info, please contact me.
Asking $500 plus shipping.
I am open to the idea of trading for 65/66 HiPo / Shelby specific parts or reasonable offers.
Thanks,
Riley
