I have 215/60R15 on my vintage Cragar GT's (15x6)
This keeps the stock diameter.
Yes, they were available certainly in Nov 64.
The part you are referring to was only used on the 6 cylinder brakes.
They don't change the ride.
They are intended to keep the springs from twisting when launching hard.
They have some give going up and down, within reason.

I measured a set on a 1964 Fairlane HiPo engine. Should be close. This is a production set, not a service replacement across the parts counter. Results were:
1 - 28-3/4"
2 - 24-1/2"
3 - 26-7/8"
4 - 24-1/8"
5 - 25"
6 - 26-1/2"
7 - 25"
8 - 28"
I will see if I can locate any additional information.

Bob,
You didn't happen to transpose the numbers for cylinders 1 through 4?
If it was a Comet then the K code identifies it as the Mustang A code equivalent.
Ford of Canada made something like 6 K code Falcons. All were special order.
Don't make fun of me.

Thanks guys....there is always something to learn
I must be missing something.
How can the Boss 302 rod be considered a service replacement for the 289 rod?

It's expensive, for a car that needs to be restored.
It's a reprint
The legal and moral answer is it is a fake as all rebodies are fakes.
Don,
Some people are just grumpy.
You didn't say or do anything wrong.
lol...who cares? It's a lousy show

What does "exact partial" mean?
I know Branda sells two versions of the grill piece.
I would try them for the other piece too.

Holy smoke those are stiff springs!!!
It really should only be a minor inconvenience to ship out of the states. All you need to do is fill out a customs declaration form.
In spite of the high cost of shipping by USPS it is cheaper than UPS or FedEx. Those buggers charge a high brokers fee to ship to Canada while Canada Post only charges a flat $5 fee.

An auto Trans. in a K Code. Wouldn't that suck the fun out of driving a HiPo?
